Las Mariquitas sits in a magical elevated position with stunning scenery provided by the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Mediterranean. Las Mariquitas is only a 1.6km walk from the white Andalucian village of Frigiliana, regularly voted Spain’s prettiest village, and a 5-minute drive from the lively beach town of Nerja.

 

There are many local attractions and amenities to enjoy including an extensive restaurant selection.

The large landscaped garden has a striking variety of foliage including lawns, orchard and feature palms /trees. A gated in-out driveway has space for several cars along with a large portico.

​

A special feature of the property is its pool, possibly the largest in the area, and measuring 18m x 6m. The terrace is well-equipped with sun loungers (12), parasols and outdoor shower.

 

The pool house includes bathroom/washing machine/kitchenette opening to a shaded verandawith 12-seater dining/gas barbeque. Pool heating is not typically needed mid-June to mid-September (otherwise at an additional charge).

Please Note: Pool heating is only available at an additional charge. Pool heating is not necessary late June to early September.  Smoking is allowed (outside only) taking great care with any fire risk

The villa offers a range of guest accommodation, 4 bedrooms in the Main villa, including a studio apartment with separate garden access, and a 2 bedroom apartment located with the pool.

 

The villa, pool, and gardens have a very private nature and are not overlooked by the neighbouring properties. On entering the property guests are greeted with a beautiful mountain and sea view. The large living room includes comfortable sofas / chez longe and 4K TV with international channels.

The spacious kitchen has a traditional large Spanish oven (electric and gas) with all mod cons provided such as fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine.

 

The dining room features indoor dining for 12 opening to a large shaded terrace and a large outdoor dining table. Close by is a further BBQ (charcoal) and cooking area. Upstairs, the master bedroom, with super king sized bed, has a private terrace with incredible views and is served by a bathroom with a large bath and separate shower.

 

Conveniently close to the master bedroom is a further twin bedroom, perfect for children or adults alike. A double bedroom/bathroom suite is located on the ground floor providing level access from the front entrance. At garden level, there is a well-equipped studio apartment suite with twin beds, kitchenette (no hob), living area and shower room.

 

An adjacent al fresco dining area is perfect for a garden breakfast. The two-bedroom pool apartment offers easy pool and garden access and an additional degree of privacy from the main villa. It includes double and twin bedrooms, a lounge / dining area (6 seats), TV with international channels, kitchen, cloak and shower room with its own terrace and fantastic views.
